Popcorn ceilings date a house instantly and they trap dust and cobwebs. Taking them down opens a room up and makes it feel newer and brighter. We mask the walls and floors top to bottom, scrape the texture, then skim, sand, and finish the ceiling smooth or with a light modern texture.
It is a messy job done right, which is exactly why you want it done by someone who tarps everything first. We contain the dust, bag the scrapings, and leave the room clean. On older homes we always recommend a quick check before scraping, since pre-1980 texture can require special handling.
Finish it off with paint and the ceiling looks freshly built. We can knock out the removal, the skim, and the paint all in one project.
We provide popcorn ceiling removal across the San Jacinto Valley and Inland Empire, including San Jacinto, Hemet, Menifee, Perris, Moreno Valley, Beaumont, Banning, Winchester and beyond. See all service areas.
