Is cabinet refinishing cheaper than new cabinets?

Yes, by a lot. Refinishing keeps the cabinets you have and gives them a new finish, so you get a new-looking kitchen for a small slice of the price.

What is the difference between refinishing and refacing?

Refacing covers the cabinet boxes with a new veneer and adds new doors. Refinishing, which is what we do, cleans, sands, primes and paints the cabinets you already have.

Will the paint chip or peel?

We use a bonding primer and a cabinet-grade enamel that cures hard and wipes clean. Good prep is what keeps it from peeling, so we never skip it.

Can you change the hardware too?

Yes. Your hardware can stay, or we can put on new pulls and knobs while the doors are off.

Do you give free estimates?
