EJ's Painting and Handyman is a locally owned shop right here in San Jacinto. We started with a paintbrush and grew into the full handyman list, because customers kept asking, and built a name on doing the prep work other crews skip.
How EJ's works
We keep it simple. You call or text and tell us what you are looking at. We come give you a free, honest estimate, no pressure and no upsell. When you are ready, we show up on time, protect your floors and furniture, and do the job the way we would want it done in our own home.
Painting is where we started, interior, exterior, cabinets, drywall, fences, and decks. The handyman side grew out of customers asking if we could also fix the door while we were there, or hang the TV, or repair the fence. The answer was yes, and now it is half of what we do.
What hasn't changed is the standard. Clean lines, full coverage, matched colors and texture, and a tidy job site every single day. That is the whole pitch, and it is why folks call us back and send their neighbors.

Good to know before you call
Do you give free estimates?
Yes. Tell us what you need over the phone or send a few photos, and we will give you a straight, no-pressure estimate. There is no charge to find out what a job will cost.
Are you really open 24 hours?
We answer and schedule around the clock, which is a big help for property managers, rental turns, and busy households. Most work is done during the day, but we will set a time that fits you.
Do you do both painting and handyman work?
Both. EJ's started in painting and grew into the full handyman list, so you can hand us a repaint and a repair list in the same visit instead of calling two different people.
What kinds of repairs can you handle?
A wide range: drywall and stucco, doors and windows, fences and gates, faucets and toilets, broken water pipes, garbage disposals, lighting and fixtures, fans, smoke detectors, blinds, gutters, power washing, and the everyday honey-do list. If it is on your list, ask us.
What areas do you serve?
We are based in San Jacinto and serve the whole San Jacinto Valley and surrounding Inland Empire, including Hemet, Menifee, Perris, Moreno Valley, Beaumont, Banning, Murrieta, Temecula, Lake Elsinore, and up the hill in Idyllwild.
Do you prep before you paint, or just roll over the wall?
We always prep. Patching, sanding, caulking, and priming are what make a paint job last and look smooth. Skipping prep is why cheap jobs peel and show marks, so we never skip it.
